About us
La Filarmonica is a private musical institution placed in Madrid that organizes, since 2012, a season of classical music concerts that has become a benchmark of the Auditorio Nacional and our city.
The Philharmonic maintains collaborations with other cultural institutions such as the Teatro Real, Fundacion Scherzo, CNDM or the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.
La Filarmonica is part of GrupCamera, a group of music services companies active in the international circuit for more than 40 years, and present in more than 30 countries.
HOW WE PROGRAM OUR SEASONS
We cultivate all genres and ages of music: from the Baroque and Classicism to the Vanguards, passing through Romanticism; from the great symphonic works, which are the essential axis of the season, to the intimacy of chamber music and recital.
Our concerts are not thought as conclusive events by themselves, but as essential pieces that, interacting with each other, give meaning, discourse and structure to the Season we present.
We choose the works and offer them to those interpreters who guarantee excellence in their interpretation.
Our activity is based on fostering and supporting music as a common, universal and abstract heritage of our civilization; a language of peace that unites nations and people.
OUR ARTISTS
We have enjoyed, from our beginnings, GrupCamera's historical relationships with great artists. We maintain a permanent dialogue and maximum confidence with them, thus achieving their complicity to obtain the best options to design our Sesason.
In addition, we are proud to continue adding to this list, new artists of the future.
WHERE WE DO THE CONCERTS
We present our concerts at Auditorio Nacional and, occasionally, at Teatro Real. Two concert halls with great standing that offer us the best acoustic to perform and listen the pieces presented in concert.
SPIRIT OF SERVICE
We are a team with great experience and constant renewal. We work in a collegiate manner, understanding our activity as a service to the music lovers and especially to the subscribers, to whom the ownership of our activity belongs, ultimately.
For this reason, with a constant desire to improve, we are in permanent contact with our public, listening to their ideas and suggestions to take forward our organization.
